The story

Founded to fix outsourcing.

Sarif Group was founded in 2016 to do one thing: deliver outsourced technical and marketing work without the failure modes that make "outsourcing" a bad word in most board meetings.

Nine years later, we operate the same way. A small bench of senior contractors in Europe and Asia. A senior PM on every engagement. Pricing published, scope fitted to the brief, and a written proposal before any code is written.

We are deliberately not a 200-person agency. We are deliberately not US-headquartered. We have stayed at this size because the model works at this size: small enough that every engagement is owned by someone with skin in the company, large enough that we are not relying on any one contractor showing up.

How we operate

Europe and Asia, by design.

Our contractors are based across Europe and Asia, where a working day in one region overlaps comfortably with a working day in the other. Most engagements run with a senior PM in European hours and an execution team distributed across both regions.

Sarif Group LLC itself is registered in Delaware. The legal entity gives clients the contractual posture they expect; the work is delivered from where our people are.

Principles

Four working rules.

We have tried the alternatives. These are the rules that survived.

01 Quiet over loud
We do not publish case studies. The work is the marketing. Clients tell other clients, or they tell nobody. Either way, we stay out of the press.
02 Senior over swarm
A senior PM is on every engagement. Junior contractors execute under their direction. We will not throw eight juniors at a problem to bill the hours.
03 Boring over novel
We pick the boring technology, the well-understood pattern, the framework that will still be maintained five years from now. Novelty is for side projects.
04 Scoped over open-ended
Every engagement begins with a written proposal: fixed scope, fixed price, fixed timeline. Open-ended retainers exist for maintenance, never for new work.

Geography

We do not service
US companies.

We are not set up to serve US clients. Our contracts, our hours, and our delivery model all assume a European or Asian counterparty.
